Attended a high school graduation for a nephew today in my hometown. There was a party afterward at a lodge house at a beautiful county park. I had forgotten, but pleasant memories came to mind when I realized I was sitting on the same bench overlooking the city where I lost my virginity some 20 years ago.

After dating my boyfriend for two years, he got into a serious car accident and almost died. I promised myself that if he lived, I would finally "say yes" to him. He did live, thankfully... and the first time was in the backseat of my dad's car in the highschool parking lot after a game. My boyfriend (later to be my husband and much later to be my ex) still had a cast on his leg, but it didn't slow him down any.
