NP themi01, I'm not ashamed to say I've spent a goodly portion of my life working my wood seriousness aside, I've made many small projects before such as spinners & wooden boxes, but apart from some crude shelf units, this was my first ever major free-standing real furniture project. My contractor/guitar-player buddy has already expressed his admiration for the mitered corners; I say they're all the more amazing in that I've never mitered a corner before in my life!

How kool, Zoid. Anybody that can make something out of wood has my highest respect. For me, it's like carving jello with a hammer and chisel.

Now don't you wish you had Norm's "....after we finish here at the micrometer set, central vacuum chip/dust collector system, plainer, (and before going to the flame suppression, static neutralized finishing room) we'll take this to the laser-aligning dovetail joiner and then to the self-centering biscuit cutter to do the next operation......", or is that why it took you more than two days to do your project?

Actually PF all my work and I take pride in this is done the old fashioned way knife and by eye I even sometimes use antique finishes but your right Norms shop is over the top

And wait Zoid you never mitered a corner before ? even by eye ?
