Good news following my eye surgery :)
A week ago I had cataract surgery on my left eye. Saw the eye doctor today and he said the eye was healing good and my vision has improved in the left eye from 20/40 to 20/30. No more night time glare when driving, either. No need for a new prescription or anything. He'll see me again in 6 months. 
Right eye doesn't need the surgery.
