I would come back as a tiger, they are gorgeous animals and they really aren't bothered by many in their habitat...

A cat is clever and cheeky. Knows where and how to get a free feed and loves to be cuddled. Hmm. I must be one already!

Both mine were taken already...
ladybug because i think they are the world's only good buy and just darn cute!
house cat (also with a loving owner as mentioned above) what could be better than naps in the sun, running about a house and terrorizing your owner at 3am with a toy? I mean food and water put out daily, a scooped box, and a house to roam for sleep and play! And not a care in the world other than how long to sleep on the next nap in the sun.

ladybug...oh, cause it's a long standing joke with my 13 year old. When he was a very very small child he was an old spiderman freak. He knew all the ancient old videos by heart. When he would "be" Spiderman, who incidentally has no sidekick, I'd be "ladybug lady" his trusty sidekick.

I would be a Horse. Go figure
Horses have such a free spirit, they love and trust with everything. They don't really know a stranger, and are willing to give you all that they have in return for you loving and caring for them.

Most likely, I'd choose a timberwolf. Strong, swift, sure, pack-conscious but not pack-minded.
If we delve into fantasy, though, sign me up for a Chinese Earth Dragon.
