i know that but she got to do it .....my aunt was house sitting for a friend who lives like 4 houses down from martha. Well my aunt was taking some pix of flowers (its been her hobbie for the longest time). Martha owns basicly the copy rights to the entire street (nothing showing her house may be videoed of photographed). Martha Saw my aunt taking her pix and started to bitch about not taking the pictures, my aunt went off and bitched her out so bad, yelling at her telling martha that she had gotten permission from the home owners to take the pics.
Im not sure what happened after that..all i know is the story has become a family legend.

I got to meet Dave Winfield of the New York Yankees at a book signing.
Yogi Berra was an usher at my mom's church, Eddie Lopat worked the off season as a salesman for Armour Hot Dogs and Armour Deli Meats. <This of course being long before baseball players commanded multi-million dollar salaries>. And yes, Yogi did keep his Yogi-isms out of church LOL

Unfair question: People who live in NY and LA meet celebrities ALL the time.
But I did meet Kid Rock; he lives in MI too.

There are some I have seen from far, talking to three: one is that showmaster that is looking a bit like me,
-Ingo Dubinski (but who knows him??),
the second might be known also in foreign countries:
-Norbert Schramm, a famous ice skater.
Third is
-Ingo Meier (the boss of one of Germany´s biggest lotteries, had some beers with him; a very nice person)
And there was one man for some time my neighbour:
-Peter Machac, a wellknown radio moderator.
Seen from far:
-the pope (Munich),
-Nicki Lauda (met him in Salzburg crossing my way),
-Thomas Gottschalk (probably Germany´s most famous TV showmaster, met him in the airport),
-Harald Juhnke (showmaster, actor, singer; unfortunately famous for his high consumption of alcohol),
-Charly Huber (actor),
-Siegfried Lowitz (actor),
-Horst Buchholz (actor),
-Alois Glück (Bavarian politician)
and still some more that I do not remember their names

Just this morning, I went to a presentation being given by MacKenzie Phillips on drug and alcohol abuse, and got to shake her hand as she was leaving the building.
My mom graduated high school with Cheryl Ladd (one of Charlie's Angels) and I did get to meet her at their reunion several years back.
Back in 1984, my parents took me to a Mondale/Ferraro rally at the cap in Madison...my parents tell me I was patted on the head by Fritz, but I have no recollection of the moment. Also saw Al Gore when he rallied in Madison for the past election.
In middle school, I was obsessed with the guys on soaps, as they were the only ones you really had the opportunity to meet in person through meet & greets at local fairs, etc. I've met Patrick Muldoon (old Austin off Days of Our Lives), Peter Reckell (Bo Brady on Days), Jaason Simmons (the cute Aussie on Baywatch), and just a couple years ago- Paul Anthony Stewart (now starring as Danny Santos on Guiding Light). Each was an enjoyable experience, they are all very nice, and just as cute in person!
Hopefully my list of celebrity encounters will continue to grow as the years go by Always fun!
