I feel a little sheepish posting this
but here goes.
I've been sleeping with Mr HB for 6 months, he is quite well endowed, but it's never been a problem as we only have sex once I'm very turned on, and well lubricated.
As you may know, he's been away for 2 weeks, where at most, a few times I slipped a finger inside myself [alone, I'm more a fan of clitoral stimulation].
Now he's back, and it's been fun making up for lost time, but sex hurts. It's not that I'm not turned on, I'm getting wetter than ever before, but last night he really struggled to penetrate me.
In the past, I've happily gone a year without sex, and felt nothing like this.
What's going on? Is this normal?

Was this something you were concerned about before you first had sex when you saw him again? If so, it's possible that just a little bit of anxiety is causing your muscles to tighten up....likewise, if your issue from before (with the ex etc) is not quite resolved in your head, it could just be a little bit of tension that's manifesting itself during love making.
If you feel sure it's not linked with your head, but more of a physical problem, I suggest you talk to him about it, and ask him to go really gently. Experiment with different positions that give you more control over the movement, and that allow you to be more physically 'open'. Make sure he uses his fingers on you first and that you are totally relaxed when he enters you (I know it's easier said than done when you're anticipating pain, but try your best).
I find sex a little bit painful sometimes having given birth (I had to have stitches) so I find it's something I have to be more aware of than before, but the above tricks work for me.
Whatever you do, don't just grin and bear it.

Thank you Lou.
I wasn't concerned before we had sex at all, we spent most of yesterday in bed 'catching up' - I felt the same every time, despite how horny I was.
However, I'll remember what you've suggested and give it a go tonight.
Thanks again Lou x

Did someone say ?
Ok, back to your thread...who knows why things were a bit difficult this time? It's worked in the past so we know things fit together nicely. Try not to stress it or it will be the worry & anticipation that will get in the way of things (like that sexy lady Lou suggested) and just go on about your business of happily pleasuring each other.
If you are still concerned...perhaps photo-documenting the situation might offer us some insight.
Hey...I had to try!

Have you by chance been overdoing the make-up sessions or was it hurting right at the start? If it's been hurting all along, and it's not a lubrication problem, maybe a chat with your doctor might be appropriate .... just to be safe.
