Currently Professionally Unemployed. Really like this job~ But the pay sucks

I was a Paramedic for a bezillion years. I am one of few who can say I honestly loved my job. I don't miss the political BS of working for the Gov't (ie: county) But the hours rocked. I worked 24 on/ 48 off.

I loved the interaction and helping people in crisis. Sometimes there was great sadness, but the rewards of being there for people when they are at their worst outweighed it all.

Not to mention people in that situation enjoy a bad joke and a warm smile. Flirting with everyone. Rooming and hangin with hot Firemen and cops. Definetly not a bad gig.

Not to mention civil service workers are the largest group of sadistically funny practical joke playing horn dawgs in the world. I fit right in

See now I am missing it all bad again.
