/\/ You're So Vain \/\

Had to get rid of my roots...:o

I usually leave a delicate matter like this up to seasoned professionals.

Anyone have a tip on how to get hair dye off of a linoleum tile floor?:spin: Is just a tiny bit but it's driving me mad!!!!

CarolLynn 10-07-2003 07:51 AM

Have you tried

Try Hydrogen proxide

I don't know about hairdye on linoleum, but just last night I discovered that blue cheese salad dressing effectively cleans the tarnish from the bottom of copper cookware without scrubbing.

IAKaraokeGirl 10-07-2003 08:17 AM

<------thinks that's another good reason *not* to eat blue cheese salad dressing.

You could try throwing in a hand grenade like they do with French restaurants.
You’ll get linoleum blown apart!

(I love the ones that are so bad, they’re good.) LOL :D

Lilith 10-07-2003 01:14 PM

Thanks! I will try them all...well except the blue cheese...I prefer that on veggies:p

PantyFanatic 10-07-2003 02:42 PM

I want to see this.;) ...............................( from a distance:eek: )

LixyChick 10-10-2003 01:41 PM

Did you get the spot out yet Lil? If not.....it might have to be taken up with a bit of an abrasive. Comet (or any cleanser) with bleach might do the trick.......or even a scrubby pad and nail polish remover......though it might leave a dull patch???....but the spot won't be there!

BigBear57 10-10-2003 02:19 PM

I'm not sure about tile but we use a spot of Coca-cola on carpet spots. The acid it the Coke does a good job on most stains I've tried it on. Hell anything that'd eat the remains of a fly overnight is strong enough. LOL

Lilith 10-10-2003 03:20 PM

Thanks guys. I will let you know how I get it off. It's nice flooring so I hate to ruin it by dulling the finish.
