Favorite Song
 
Well, here is a somewhat random post, but being a big fan of music, what are people's favorite song (doesn't have to be of all time, that is too tough to answer I think, but maybe something that has caught their ear as of late), maybe it makes you dance, or moves your heart, or gets your adrenaline flowing it makes you want to just burst.

For me it is kind of a recent song (couldn't tell you what my all time favorite sone would be) but "Here Is Gone" by the Goo Goo Dolls has been on my mind. It just makes my blood sing, I find it hearfelt (and of course I am trying to figure out how to play it now hehe), so, what about the rest of you?

krzykrn... I too am a avid music listener.. I have several songs that currently play on the radio that give me a range of emotions..

Happy: 19 Something

Tears: My Baby - Blake Shelton

Hope: This Night Won't Last Forever - Sawyer Brown

Sweet: Beautiful Mess - Diamond Rio

And that just covers the country genre...

As a big Midnight Oil fan anything by them from the 80's can still get me singing and fighting the urge to thrash the old air guitar or drums but in particular the whole 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 album still gets my blood up and if I'm also in the car I find myself putting my foot down and looking for the quickest way to get on some dirt roads and go bushbashing like any true hoon would :D :D :D

Most of my friends are older Generation X'ers and Baby Boomers, so I've heard a lot of their generation music, which is the best, IMO.

Nice to see some Zep fans! I love Zep...Stairway to Heaven was one of the first songs I learned how to play...ironically I have forgotten how to play most of it now *blush*

But my favorite Zep tune..."Ten Years Gone"! I just love how it starts out, and then it kicks into gear (damn Jimmy and all the funky chords he plays) then back down...classic
