skyler_m 05-20-2004 01:08 PM

Lilith 05-20-2004 01:12 PM

lol...I love this...anybody ever eat, bologna, in scrambled eggs with american cheese?

I used to eat that when I stayed with a girlfriend's family.

TinTennessee 05-20-2004 02:23 PM

ok at the risk of grossing you all out....bologna sandwich with mustard and onion...YUMMMMM

Lilith 05-20-2004 02:27 PM

Well since bologna and hot dogs are relatives it^^^ seems reasonable to me:p

naughtyangel 05-20-2004 02:29 PM

What's American cheese

Lilith 05-20-2004 02:33 PM

like Velveeta...processed cheese...but wrapped individually in slices.

skyler_m 05-20-2004 02:40 PM

American cheese is the most generic cheese in the world. I'm trying to get it renamed...

rabbit 05-20-2004 02:40 PM

<<----is feeling ill reading this thread.

skyler_m 05-20-2004 02:52 PM

it could be worse, rabbit. Could be a thread about headcheese...

Gilly 05-20-2004 02:53 PM

Ugh, fried?!?!? Savages!

IAKaraokeGirl 05-20-2004 02:54 PM

No, good! Hot dogs, too!

Gilly 05-20-2004 03:00 PM

hot dogs grilled are awesome. But bologne? Ok, ok, yes, it's the same damn thing, but still! Ugh! Next you guys are going to tell me fried peanut butter and banana sandwhiches are good

SAVAGES!

naughtyangel 05-20-2004 03:02 PM

ooohhh

here it's just called Kraft cheese slices, or cheese slices, or Kraft singles. The package doesn't say American cheese on it here.

skyler_m 05-20-2004 03:04 PM

do they call it Canadian cheese? :D

Lilith 05-20-2004 03:11 PM

head cheese *giggles*

Eros 05-20-2004 03:22 PM

MMmmmm...hot bologna...fried with BBQ sauce..and onions....oh god...heartburn heaven!!..LOL

Gilly 05-20-2004 03:23 PM

-runs for the bathroom, making gagging noises-

What ever happened to just two slices of bologne, slapped on two slices of white bread, and eaten as is? You sick, sick people!

;)

WildIrish 05-20-2004 03:24 PM

I like my bologna sandwiches on white bread with mayo and one slice of cheese between two slices of bologna. It's perfect when the bread sticks to the roof of your mouth.

With potato chips on the side, and a tall cold glass of milk.

Gilly 05-20-2004 03:25 PM

Now, see, there's a man who knows how to enjoy bologne! ;)

Bardog 05-20-2004 03:37 PM

Lilith, I love what we have always called "rag" bologna in a sandwich with fried eggs, lots of mayo and cheese. (That is the kind you buy in a stick like a giant hot dog and slice yourself.)

Nope, just processed cheese slices. I prefer real cheese without the bologna...:)

My husband and I eat bologna and potato chip sandwiches. Same concept, bologna and american cheese but then we put a layer of plain potato chips down and squish it all together. With a nice big glass of milk! However now that I'm on such a strict sodium diet, I can't have any!

skyler_m 05-22-2004 01:07 PM

anyone ever see bologna or hot dogs being made? You know how people say you really don't wanna know... trust me... you don't.

Prior to them actually cooking the pseudo-meatlike product... it's liquid. I kid you not.

EAT UP! :D

flutelady 05-22-2004 09:11 PM

*shrugs shoulders*... doesn't matter to me, cuz when I get it, it's in it's yummy form.

Fried balogna rules, my dad used to cook it for me all the time when I was a little girl. I thought the man was brilliant!

It also comes in handy when you're making homemade pizza and don't have any pepperoni handy... it makes a pretty good substitute. But yeah, give me balogna, american cheese, good old yellow mustard and two slices of buttermilk bread. Coffee to wash it down at breakfast, Diet Coke at lunch. Once every six months or so? Oh yeahhhh

huntersgirl 05-22-2004 09:49 PM

I ate too much bologne as a kid, I'm all done!:p

Kissy 05-22-2004 10:45 PM

I know this has nothing to do with bologna, but since hot dogs were mentioned i thought i'd include this link;

Hot Dog Trivia

Cheyanne 05-23-2004 09:41 AM

LOL @ all of you!!!

Haven't had a bologna sandwich in ages! When I did partake -
Bologna, miricle whip and lettuce... :D

Now, radish sandwhiches are another story!!! YUM!

MilkToast 05-23-2004 09:51 AM

damn, I was in the store yesterday and passed by the processed food... well this thread got into my head and I had to buy a pack of bologna and some processed american cheese (NOT chgese food!)... 20 mins later... add a roll, some Weber's mustard, cheese, and bologna... and voila instant child hood.
