From us to BIBI it was 890 miles! (I rounded the 4/10 of a mile up) :D
|
Did you include the 13-1/2 miles around the inside of your post office? ;) LOL
That makes 8,098.87 miles. |
I knew we could depend on you to keep a running count! :)

9457 miles :) give or take a few once it started it's travels from Australia |
I’m guessing Package # 1 traveled 19,217.51 miles from DB to FallenAngel5. :)
DB – Los Angles 1,949.3 LA – Brisbane 7,168 ( x 2 = 14,336) Brisbane – Alasse 163km ( 101.28 miles) (x 2 = 202.56) LA – FallenAngel5 2729.65 If this is right, our package traveled 27,316.38 miles or 43,880.07 km, or around the world 1.095 times (at the equator). Boy! :) I can’t wait for the rest of the numbers to come in. :D :jump: <--- crazy man with pencil & slide rule jumping up and down smilie |

PF I'm impressed ... your guesses got down to the 10ths and 100ths of a mile. Wow. ... hmmm ... wait a minute ... did I go by the gas station first ... that could add 2/10ths. Nah, we'll forget that. :D |
Though directions indicate that Lilith and I are seperated by a mere 1183 miles...because I sent the package UPS, it spent some time driving around the neighborhood in the big brown truck. :p

LOL Now if we were using SOMEBODY'S GPS address system, we could figure ANY location and distance on the planet within 9 feet (3m), and ANYBODY that understood 10 Arabic numerals (even if they did not speak the language) and EVERY automated addressing system and mail sorting machine in the world could work the same and EVERY delivery company, truck and driver would know EXACTLY where they were going without delay or empirical knowledge. :D  <--- some map freak smilie |
